A nugget of native placer gold

Identity

Au · 79

Gold is a native element — it occurs in the ground uncombined, as metal.

The company

An indigenous operator built for the whole chain.

Most Nigerian minerals leave the country as unprocessed rock. Abarmawa was incorporated in 2015 to hold the chain together — to explore and prove a deposit, build and run the mine, process the ore into a saleable product, and take it to market itself.

That means one accountable party from the licence to the load-out, and value that stays closer to the ground it came from.

Rock does not become revenue at the pit. It becomes revenue at the port.

Why we hold the whole chain

Capability

Six stages, one operator.

The sequence below is the order the work actually happens in. Abarmawa is resourced to carry a deposit through every step without handing it off.

STAGE 01

Mineral exploration

Geological mapping, geophysical survey, pitting and sampling to locate a deposit and establish whether it is worth developing.

Mineral-bearing country over a greenfields exploration target

STAGE 02

Mine development

Feasibility, mine design, access roads, site infrastructure and the statutory approvals needed before a single tonne moves.

Plant infrastructure being commissioned on a mine site

STAGE 03

Extraction

Open-pit and underground extraction using proven methods, with drill-and-blast, loading and haulage run to a fixed safety standard.

Hydraulic face shovel on a mine site

STAGE 04

Mineral processing

Crushing, screening, milling and concentration — turning run-of-mine rock into a graded product a buyer will actually pay for.

Ore processing plant, conveyors and surge bins

STAGE 05

Trading & export

Marketing graded product into local and international markets, with the documentation and chain-of-custody that export demands.

Stockpiles and conveyors on the plant apron

STAGE 06

Consultancy

Advisory across geology, mine planning, environmental management, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Mineral portfolio

What we take out of the ground.

Nigeria’s solid-minerals endowment is broad. Ours is deliberately not — we work the commodities where we hold ground, understand the metallurgy, and have a route to market.

Owned, maintained, instrumented.

Plant is only useful if it runs. Ours is maintained on a pre-start inspection regime, with pit surveys and stockpile volumes measured rather than estimated.

Hydraulic face shovel
Excavation & haulage

Hydraulic excavators and haul trucks sized to the bench, moving overburden and ore on a fixed cycle.

Front-end loader at a gold mine
Loading & handling

Front-end loaders for stockpile management, rehandling and feeding the primary crusher.

Ore processing plant
Processing plant

Crushing, screening and milling circuits sized to produce a consistent, saleable product specification.
