Most Nigerian minerals leave the country as unprocessed rock. Abarmawa was incorporated in 2015 to hold the chain together — to explore and prove a deposit, build and run the mine, process the ore into a saleable product, and take it to market itself.
That means one accountable party from the licence to the load-out, and value that stays closer to the ground it came from.

Open-pit and underground extraction using proven methods, with drill-and-blast, loading and haulage run to a fixed safety standard.

Crushing, screening, milling and concentration — turning run-of-mine rock into a graded product a buyer will actually pay for.

Trading & export
Marketing graded product into local and international markets, with the documentation and chain-of-custody that export demands.

Plant is only useful if it runs. Ours is maintained on a pre-start inspection regime, with pit surveys and stockpile volumes measured rather than estimated.
Hydraulic excavators and haul trucks sized to the bench, moving overburden and ore on a fixed cycle.
Front-end loaders for stockpile management, rehandling and feeding the primary crusher.
Crushing, screening and milling circuits sized to produce a consistent, saleable product specification.
Bench design, ramp gradients and drainage planned so the pit stays workable through the wet season.

1Who we are
Abarmawa International Mining Company Limited (“Abarmawa”, “we”, “us”) is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 3 September 2015 under RC 1285158, with its head office in Abuja and further offices in Kaduna, Ibadan and Bangkok.
For the purposes of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, Abarmawa is the data controller in respect of personal data collected through this website and through direct correspondence with us.
2What this website collects
This website is a static publication. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and builds no profile of you. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which will receive your IP address in the ordinary course of serving those files.
Where our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, those may record your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use such logs only to keep the site available and secure.
3Information you give us directly
If you contact us by telephone, email or letter, we collect what you choose to send: your name, the organisation you represent, your contact details, and the content of your enquiry. Where an enquiry concerns a commercial transaction we may also collect information required for counterparty due diligence and anti-money-laundering checks.
4Why we process it, and on what basis
- To respond to you — on the basis of your consent, or of steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To perform a contract — where you become a customer, supplier, contractor or partner.
- To meet legal obligations — including our obligations to the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Federal Inland Revenue Service, the Mining Cadastre Office, and the Special Control Unit against Money Laundering under the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act.
- For our legitimate interests — keeping records of business dealings, protecting our sites and assets, and establishing or defending legal claims.
5Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to: regulators and government agencies where we are required to; our professional advisers, bankers and auditors under duties of confidence; and service providers who process data on our instructions. Where a disclosure is compelled by law or by a court of competent jurisdiction, we will make it.
6Transfers outside Nigeria
We maintain an office in Bangkok, Thailand, and some correspondence may be handled there or by service providers located outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred out of Nigeria we do so on a basis permitted by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and we take reasonable steps to ensure the data continues to be protected to an adequate standard.
7How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are ordinarily kept for up to two years. Records connected to a contract, a transaction or a statutory obligation are kept for as long as that obligation requires and for the limitation period that follows, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
8Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased; to restrict or object to processing; to receive data you gave us in a portable form; and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis on which we process.
To exercise any of these, write to us at the Abuja head office. If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
9Security
We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, confidentiality obligations on staff and contractors, and secure disposal of records. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and any transmission is at your own risk.
10Changes
We may amend this policy from time to time. The date at the head of this page shows when it was last revised.
